The Performance Road range is DT's classic road wheel range with a focus on low weights and responsive handling, ideal for those looking to sharpen up their ride's climbing and acceleration. Coming in at 1662 grams for the set, they provide an excellent choice of upgrade over the vast majority bike-supplied wheels.
Tubeless compatible sleeve-joined rims are a step above the pinned versions making them lighter and stronger than wheels usually found at this level. With 18mm internal (23mm external) rim width the wheels are ideal for the 23-28c tyres used on modern road bikes.
DT-Swiss' SPLINE hub system offers greatly improved stiffness to weight ratios compared to traditional j-bend wheels and DT's straight pull spokes are widely available should you need replacements. The wheels implement a mix of lighter weight Aero Comp spokes and the incredibly strong New Aero spokes for a great mix of durability, comfort and power transfer.
DT's 350 hub internals are combined with a freshly optimised SPLINE hub-shell designed to improve spoke bracing and improve stiffness, the 350 18-tooth ratchet system is the most reliable out there, it can also be serviced without the need for specialist tools, making it ideal for back country epics.

Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
