Arguably the best improvement that can be made to any bike is the wheels. And with DT Swiss's G 1800 wheels offer improved strength, weight, reliability and rolling performance over nearly any bike-supplied wheel. These wheels area sure fire way to enhance your gravel adventures and make your gravel steed perform considerably better.
The G 1800's rims are a chunky permitting 24mm internal rim width allowing you to go 35c and upwards on your gravel bike, maximising widths to what your frame will allow. And of course they can be set up tubeless, or standard clincher if preferred. Available in 650b and 700c the wheels keep up to date with modern gravel bikes, tailoring for both gravel standards. Your frame has the ability to take both options? Why not go for the size not already fitted to your bike and try a different set up? – perhaps a more road orientated wheelset or a super knobbly off road set! And of course they can be set up tubeless, or standard clincher if preferred.
Dt-Swiss' SPLINE hub system offers greatly improved stiffness to weight ratios compared to traditional j-bend wheels and DT's straight pull spokes are widely available should you need replacements. The wheels implement a mix of lighter weight Aero Comp spokes and the incredibly strong New Aero spokes for a great mix of durability, comfort and power transfer.
Spinning on quality sealed cartridge bearings, rolling drag is considerably reduced and servicing made easy. The durable 3-Pawl freehub system is a tried and tested design that is easy to maintain and service without the need for specialist tools.

Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
