With its quick and responsive design, the Friston is ideal for fast commutes. It also boasts MTB-inspired features such as a longer reach, short stem, and wider handlebar for confident off-road handling. The unique Total Geometry concept offers MTB-style control without sacrificing road stability, even when fully loaded with bike-packing gear. Additionally, the standard dropper post ensures optimal rider balance and control on rough terrain. And if you want to take your riding to the next level, the Friston can accommodate tires up to 700x50mm in the rear and 29x2.0in in front for maximum grip and comfort in all weather conditions.
The Friston is not only practical and attractive, but it's also always ready for an adventure. With SRAM Apex single ring 1x11 gearing, climbing is a breeze, and the lightweight carbon fork enhances comfort all day long. The SRAM Apex 1 hydraulic disc brakes, with a larger 180mm front rotor, provide maximum stopping power. This bike is also weather-resistant with sealing gussets and ample mud clearance around 700x45mm tires. Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
