The Castelli Superleggera 2 Jersey is one of the most refined jerseys Castelli has ever made, bringing together the brands expertise in fabric engineering and construction techniques.
The original Superleggera jersey was inspired by riding the Flüela Pass between Davos and the Engadin Valley in Switzerland, where at 2383m the air is thin and riders demand the absolute best performance possible. The Superleggera 2 Jersey carries this idea forward but with several new features that make it a high-performance and deluxe jersey worthy of the pros.
For the Superleggera 2 Castelli has developed a new fabric called Oltre. Oltre roughly translates into English as beyond, as the new material really goes further than what you would expect from a jersey fabric. It is incredibly light, helping the jersey achieve its remarkable 102g weight in a size large, and has horizontal stripes giving great breathability and stretch while providing support for the rear pockets.
The fit of the jersey is slim enough to retain aerodynamic performance, but slightly more relaxed than Castellis race jerseys striking a perfect balance between performance and comfort.
The Superleggera 2, has several features that will make it a favourite in your cycling wardrobe for reasons beyond its race performance. A zipped key pocket introduces utility to the jerseys design. Every stitch and panel of the Superleggera 2 has been meticulously considered for performance, but style too, creating a jersey that looks just as good as it performs.

Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, reattach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Pedal do not come with every bike and need to be bough separately, especially on more high-end models. Please check when you are ordering.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
