Look: KÉO CLASSIC 3COMFORT AND STABILITYDiscover the fun and the benefits of riding with the Kéo Classic 3 clipless pedal.Simple to use, it is impossible to adjustment the cleat entry/release tension too low for an easy clip out. Its large and wide contact surface provides excellent pedalling stability.TECHNOLOGIESCHROMOLY SPINDLE FOR MORE RELIABILITYThe Kéo Classic 3 spindle is made up of an oversized steel axle with miniature ball bearings (12 mm inside x 18 mm outside) and a needle bearing cartridge for improved wear resistance. A spacer is used to hold the needle bearing cartridge in place.A new method of fitting the spindle into the pedal body also ensures the prolonged reliability of our pedals. LOOK spindles are only approved after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100tr/min with a load of 90kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (creating a shock on each rotation).LOOK axles are only approved after a rotational test of 2 million cycles at 100 rpm with a load of 90 kg on the centre of the pedal and an eccentric rotation (which creates stress on each revolution). This is equivalent to a sprint by André GREIPEL of 1700 watts at 100 rpm for 333 hours! This test is much more demanding than the current standard, the ISO 4210.SPECIFICATIONSUSAGE: Beginner to advancedBODY: CompositeAXLE: ChromolyTHREADING: 9/16 X 20 mmBEARINGS: 1 ball bearing, 1 needle bearing cartridgePEDAL STACK HEIGHT: 15,7 mmDISTANCE PEDAL SPINDLE / CRANK ARM: 53 mmCONTACT SURFACE AREA: 400 mm²FLOAT: 8 to 12 adjustable springCLEATS: Kéo Grip CleatsANGULAR MOVEMENT: 0 °, 4.5 ° or 9 ° according to the cleat colour (Black, Grey, Red)PEDAL WEIGHT:140 gr (348 gr per pair with cleats and screws)COLOURS: BlackACCESSORIES: A pair of Grey Kéo Grip cleats + screwsGUARANTY: 2 years
All of our bikes are sent on a next day service. When your order ships, you will be sent a tracking link by email.
Every bike we sell is fully assembled and tested for safety by our trained mechanics. We then partly disassemble the bike and carefully re-pack to prepare for shipping.
Depending on the model, upon receipt, you may be required to straighten and tighten the handlebars, re-attach front wheel and attach the pedals. Please ensure that the pedals are greased and fitted correctly - the pedals will be marked L and R and have to be fitted to the left and right cranks respectively. Not every bike comes with pedals, please check when you are placing your order.
There is a guide in the box telling you which tools you will need and the steps to follow. This will require some degree of mechanical skill to put together and can need some minor adjustments. The less confident you are in this field the more we'd recommend having it checked over by a professional mechanic.
Please note: Manufacturers can sometimes change the specification of the products from time to time.
